upon further discussion and deliberation, i have decided to simplify my design a bit to take some of the pressure off of the comping process. replacing a lot of the "leaf" designs from the middle of the clock will greatly cut down on my amount of cutting time. the main focus in the middle will be the clock itself anyway. i also simplified some of the lower portion, doing away with the intricate cuts.

this is a more developed version of the clock design. i want to keep it very clean and modern...much like the way the rebranding campaign has progressed throughout the semester.

for my specialty item i am doing a modern cuckoo clock silhouette.
i think it is a creative way to compliment the "be timeless" ad campaign.

the template was made completely in illustrator using the ellipse and rectangle tool.

i plan on making a mock up out of some kind of sturdy cardboard or heavy card stock.

working on my final fixes for our 3 ads. trying to explore some different, "cooler" color combinations. i like the cleanliness of the earlier pieces but i think these ads need a punch of color.

been working on my mailer quite a bit. will be out of town for final crit so i am in a hurry to finish up. still trying to stay classic and bold with my design. so far the work has received good response from people at the shop.

here is the early stages of my layout for my mailer/calender. i think that this idea could fulfill several areas of marketing. something that sells the shop but also is useful and would be kept by the client.
